    Description

    Up for auction is a white ceramic mug featuring the Flyers and the Boy Scouts of America.  It says
    THE PHILADELPHIA FLYERS
    has the Flyers logo above the Scout’s logo and says
    TRI-STATE SCOUT ROUNDUP
    on one side.   This mug is 3-3/8 inches tall, 3 ½ inches in diameter at the top, holds 9 fluid ounces and weighs 10 ¾ ounces. The condition is good – there is some kind of stain above the word Philadelphia (very faint) and a couple of chips? / defects on the foot rim (picture).  There are also manufacturing flaws – little bumps and spots under the glaze.  My research on this event came up empty! I did see a couple other mugs like this one for sale that claim to be vintage.  Thanks for looking!
